Is there still a chance I can be an LA even if I am not sent a contract in November?

Yes. While there is no guarantee, there are times when candidates who were offered a position early-on might either turn it down or not be able to make the position work with their schedule. In that case, we tend to find that out later on in the hiring/scheduling process, so if you are a waitlisted candidate, it is possible that you might be offered a position even as we move into the beginning of January.
