What qualifications do I need to be a Learning Assistant?

To be eligible, you must have taken the course(s) you want to be an LA for. In some cases, students have fulfilled this requirement through AP credit or transfer credit from another institution. Whether this is acceptable depends on the course instructor, since faculty have input in the hiring process. Some are flexible, while others prefer their LAs to have taken the course at Rutgers.
