Do I need a Social Security Number (SSN) to apply as an international student?

No — you do not need an SSN to apply. We don’t require international students to obtain one until much later in the process. If you’re hired, we can onboard you without an SSN, and you’ll then have a 90-day grace period to obtain one (or provide proof that you’ve scheduled an appointment). This is one of the final steps in hiring, so it’s not something you need to worry about at the start of the application process.
