Can I choose the format that I work in (lab, lecture, recitation, study group)?

No. The format you work in is determined by the course, not by the LA. Each course supported by the LA Program specifies which sections need LA coverage.

  • In some courses, LAs may only support recitation sections.

  • In others, LAs may support a mix of formats (lecture, recitation, study group, etc.).

  • Depending on the course’s needs, you may be assigned to just one format or to a combination.
